shitty man that happened to me with my old phone..just take the battery out and let it dry for a few days and hopefully it'll turn back on when it drys out. Apparently your not supposed to keep trying to turn it on after you get it out so just let it sit, goodluck

Just take the battery out, and let it air dry for like a week or so, maybe turn a fan on and put it by the fan for a while, then it should work, its just water, and water doesnt damage electrical parts unless it was turned on.

Krista, you should be able to take your phone into any dealer, and they have a recovery program for numbers. They plug your phone in and print out the numbers as you had them in your phone. I think there is a small charge for it, but worth it in the long run.

well the best part is I never actually used it afterwards because it was telus's phone that they lent out while they fixed ours, which is why I was so worried when I thought I ruined it. About an hour after I did it they called us back and said they wanted to exchange phones and I held them off for a few days then called them back when it would turn on. But even if I didnt have to give it up I still wouldnt throw it out just because of that...
