Car accident follow up

So get this yesterday i get a call from the cop handling the accident report. What does he tell me? well he tells me that Crown council has changed there blood testing policy. so in turn any blood tests takne past ( certain date not sure) are null and void. Which means if i filed a civil suit again the person who hit me, it would be thrown out. but she did get charged for drinkin and driving and got her licence taken away it still deosnt put my mind at ease, sure she paid for drinkin and driving, but what about basically my personal life reallly, for the first 3-4 motnsh i coudlnt walk withou a crutch, next 2 i couldnt walk without a brace, im finally able to walk again but with a noticeable limp and probably could neverswear shorts and not tomention i may not ever play a real game of basketball or run or even play with my kids as hard wehn i get older. . . liek ive never been a bitter person toward my accident figured life lessons, thigns happen for a reason but shit. i almost die in a hospital cuz soem perosn doesnt knwo when theyve had too much to drink and all she gets is a slap on the wrist!

i was so tired and hugn over when they calle di told him to call my parents and talk to them because i didnt want to lose my temper and say thigns i didnt want to. apparently it wont affect my icbc case but its still the principal htat she nearly killed me and my friend and gets a slap on the wrist

you know what you should do.... find out what exactly these changes are... charter numbers dates of legislation and everything... cause they could just be feeding you bullshit and don't wanna deal with it...

i dont think cops would really feed you bullshit in a situation like this.

but do take some action when you feel ready - but make it soon. write to the newspapers, call bctv - this isnt right. im assuming that you're still in the long process of going court which will most likely take a couple of years to finally get money which is never a fucking compensation for your life, but as long as your case is still open, fight this.
