Like I don’t mind the u instead of you...or ppl instead of people but when you go to us the word that and they put dat. Or wud instead of what. I think it sound so fucking stupid. Like fuck...you went to school use your vocabulary properly. Im assuming you were taught how to spell and speak.

See, I guess I have the opposite opinion as you do. I hate it when people use u instead of you or ppl instead of people, wud instead of what is stupid imo. But when people say dat I have no probs with it, also shortening some words don't bother me either. *shrug* It all depends on the context of the post or conversation.

I was always taught that your written communication should be at a higher standard than your speech. I try to avoid doing that except for abbreviations like "lol" etc.
