I hope you cancelled your visa, cause it only takes a few mins. to max. out a credit card now a days, if the people know what they are doing. Having your shit jacked sucks ass, but just be more careful with your stuff next time, like leave your expansive stuff in a car, don't bring it into a club.

For the record though, I did leave my phone in the bathroom at Tribeca once, and some really nice guy picked it up (I guess he went in right after me) and called the last person I had called and asked to find out who it belonged to, then had Charlie stop the music so he could find me. Not everyone is that nice <3

k first off, i do not agree with u getting ur stuff back the opposite of the way it left u, so for that i see ur point! second, shes ur god damn sister, my sister stole my id to get a tattoo then lost my id (shes 15 by the way, so at the age of 15 not only did she commit identity theft, but she cost me 100 dollars to replace my license and my birth certificate) but theres not point in being a fucking douchbag to her, sure we got in a tiff about it but im sure ive been in her shoes before with things i have burrowed from her ect ect. so i understand MISTAKES ARE MADE! It's shitty that you lost your purse jen.
I know i've been guilty of leaving mine near the decks there before too. Although I try to watch it best I can, and I have a bf to keep an eye on things when i'm in the bathroom or whatever. I know it's not the best idea. Sometimes you have a laps in judgement, especialy if you have been drinking (not to say you were). I know it can be a pain when you are dancing to hold onto a purse sometimes. I've been trying to find a hip belt for that reason. I've ended up getting a bag that slings across my chest.
I have lost lots of odd things due to not being carefull. Not usualy just leaving my stuff around on purpose though. But for some reason I have this really good luck with getting it back.
I don't think anyone should be blamed for another person choosing to steal.
But they should definatly take into account that they were not watching their bag better. Hopefully you will remember for next time the hassle you had to go through. And hopefully you don't have any issues with the credit cards being used or people using your identity.
