Attn: Landlords that post places online

Why do you go to the trouble of posting pictures of the "beautiful ocean view" or the "cozy garden out back" near your home yet leave your posting empty of actual pictures from inside the unit. Yes, I agree that the front of your house looks alright from the outside but I really don't care because you are renting the basement suite in the back. Pictures of the seagulls playing in the sunset will not make me take your sketchy place if the inside sucks!

Also, I'd love to stop seeing "Asian ESL female prefered" in every second ad.

Hahaha, yeah no kidding. It's kinda creepy. It makes me think they want someone who can't speak english very well so they can take advantage of that.

I've actually already found a place (nabbed it through craigslist) but I get a kick out of browsing the ads (gotta pass work boredom somehow!). The site was the Uvic off campus housing site, housing.uvic.ca. Overall it's actually a pretty sweet site but there are definitly tons of peple who have no clue on how to post a listing.
