Rental DVDs

I don't kno wif its just my player ( very new, only a year (toshiba). I just cleaned it and still rentals crap out on me. I honestly hate dvd. Vhs never did this to me. I think Rogers/Blockbuster needs to get a resufacing machine cause this just licks.

the irony is that the newer and higher end your dvd player is, the more sensitive it's going to be to scratches. if its starting to really piss you off just invest in a cheap ass 70 buck player for rentals.

i fucking hate renting games or dvds. either way its still a disc which means scratches. and people who rent it will not give a fuck about taking care of it.

Everytime I go to rent dvds..I usually end up just buying. I always watch movies more than once so its just easier this way. I buy alot of prev. viewed dvds and have only once had a bad disc. Which they have no problem replacing. If i can buy prev. viewed dvd for 6.99 (i just picked up i heart huckabbes) why not? its practically the same price as renting it. Plus I don't have to try to remember to return it.

can't say i've had this problem. i don't remember a single dvd or game that needed to be re-rented.
