Worst birthday ever.....

UGH..... it's not like I expect birthdays to be all great super duper wonderful but I certainly don't think they should suck so bad.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm getting old.... kinda stinks but I deal with it.

Work today is the biggest bag of shit ever. At work I work with a partner who has been at this job for about 15 yrs. She basically handles twice the volume of work that I do just because she's damn good at what she does.

Well, she's now on a 3 week vacation. All of her stuff is piled on my head and I'm uselessly attempting to keep my head above water with 3 times my usual workload while keeping everything running smoothly/on time. I haven't been able to stick on a single task for more than 5 minutes before I'm interrupted to try and meet another task.

As it stands my birthday dinner is cancelled so I can stay late at work and cover all this extra stuff. NOT VERY BIRTHDAY LIKE. *sigh*

^I rarely go home early..... usually when I 'go home early' I was also in pretty early too and worked thorugh my lunch. That's actually quite common for me to not take breaks and work the whole day through.

To be honest, its not even the time so much as the stress of trying to keep up to demands of a 2 person job by yourself!!!

thats so shitty man...sorry to hear this..HAPPY B-DAY....and getting old...piffft....man i know what its all about.......do what i do ..for a month celebrate your birthday go out every weekend and tell everyone its your birthday and drink your ass off!!!! as i get older it gets funner...only because i make it!!!!! hang in there and have an awsome birthday weekend. cause after were like 13, birthdays dont mean shit...unless we make em:);):p

That's ass. I'm catching up on all my own stuff right now because I was off for two weeks and there's no one to do my job when I'm not there. We were also right in the middle of my formal introduction when everything happened, so that's been pushed back to now and is getting sort of rushed.

So now I've got my normal stuff, catch up stuff, new stuff, AND we've got to move our offices and make everything in the plant perfect for some potential big clients who are coming in monday. It's insane over here!

All this means is that when you're done, caught up and the other women is back, you get to relax and party even harder since you missed your birthday. :)
