almost got electricuted with my laptop charger yesterday.. start smoking up and almost blew up. =( went and bought a new one for $100... wtf. =( hate how i take power/technology for granted..but i need it so so so badly.

now i need to figure out how to scam apple to re-emburse me.

trust me.. if u had something almost electricute you and sizzle in front of your face, you'd be mad to have to pay a hundred bucks to get it replaced instead of having the company do something about it.

hmm i dont know if this is the same situation but a friend of mine has a powerbook and apperently you cant pug in your charger straight into a wall socket?!?!? maybe he has his fingers in the wall socket! Perhaps you might benefit from looking into such an urban myth?

ugh way too busy to figure this situation out right now. london drugs registered my laptop in when they got it in stock....in oct 2004..when i actually bought mine in march 05..so it's "out of warranty". seriously the most annoying shit always happen to me. i always find a way to walk around it or solve it quickly though. but still sooo annoying.

totally took power for my laptop for granted. I LOVE POWERRRRR

The other day when my lights went out, I reilized how much we depend on power and things like that. We were out of power for a good 4 hours, and there was absolutly nothing to do !! So I just went to sleep, but imagine we had no power all of a sudden for a long time.It would be chaos

same thing happened to mine.

with mine, every time I packed up my power supply I'd wrap the cord around the little things that flip out just for that purpose. Anyway after while there was a nice kink at the base of the cord and that's where it damn near set itself on fire.

talk about dependant on technology.. There wasn't single power supply in stock in the lower mainland when it went. Had to wait a week for it while trying to finish projects for end of term. What a nightmare.

not a chance. they were pretty good when I had laptop problems, while it was under warranty, but you're on your own when it runs it.

my power went out at 1am this morning.

I managed to remain for 11 hours in the house until i crawled down to the coffee shop here so i could juice the laptop back up and use their internet.

fuck im a nerd.

naw, whole street's out, but the street next over is full of power. line trucks been driving around our street all morning...which is stupid because the power's underground lines.
