work
seriously, FU
I pick my brother up from work, we're on our way to vote and then head home to celebrate my Grandma's 81st birthday, when I receive a call. "Um hi, is there any way you can get here earlier than 7? We thought you started at 5 so neither of us have had breaks." me "ummm...not really...I'll do my best but it's my Grandma's birthday and I'm just heading to dinner right now." work "oh, well, since you're under hours for the week I was hoping you could start early." REALLY? REALLY NOW? So the fact that I've worked the equivalent of FOUR WEEKS of overtime without a single extra day off in the last ten months means NOTHING to you? Soooooo fucking mad right now. The correct answer would have been "Oh! No worries, sorry to bother you. Have fun at you Grandma's dinner...it's my fault anyway I really should learn how to read the schedule. See you at 7." gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad !!!!!!!1 |

ohhhh retail. I know the feeling Natalie. In my case, most times I can't say no because we're greatly understaffed. Why do daytimers quit during the christmas rush!!!?!! hah. Thankfully I don't get called to come in anymore, well because I'm already always there and I'm the merchandiser now.

God that always happens to me. I am on my last day of workin 9 days in a row and I am exausted. Just because someone is gone away on holidays I guess that means that I have to cover all of their shifts and then mine. It's ridiculous, I have to go to school AND work ? its not fair !! But all you can do is think of the money in the end, after all christmas is a month away TODAY !!
