ps. is 'reactionary' your word of the moment? you've used it like three times in the last week in your posts. i'm guessing you got a word of the day calendar for christmas.
HEY! cut me some slack! My thesaraus is broken!:260: But considering it is election time, there is a lot of sentiment out there that has nothing to do with formulating a plan for progress of the general well being of common folk in the long run, and an expansive focus being placed on profit, profit, profit, profit. So im sticking to reactionary for now.

And people complaining about Canada's system should really take a minute to read up on the enigmatic electorial college that is in place in the USA, it is far worse there.

I agree - I am in the same dilemma... the one thing I do NOT want is a conservative gov (which they are saying is inevitable), but we do have the chance of making them a minority (which would be a little less evil)... it goes down to the idea of choosing between the lesser of 2 evils (which I always thought was a bullshit idea... until now). Liberals have ALWAYS had more support than NDP (just look at the past, what, 15 years?) so they have a better chance of competing with the conservatives. I like NDP's ideas (platform) more than the Liberals, but I hate the conservatives.... ergh, it's so frustrating... oh and btw, sidekick, I do understand where you are coming from, but seriously if you look at statistics more people are going to think of voting for the liberals to try and compete with conservatives, rather than NDP... for the main reason that they are the more popular of the 2...
