I Hate My Pitch Adj.!!!

It sucks! I should have bought techs straight from the get go. MY PITCH ADJUSTMENT SUCKS! I was mixing, and some tracks had nearly, not quite perfect pitch match. i move my pitch up a little bit, it didnt work. Theres a big pitch gap in between when the light is green and red. It ruined my whole mix. I HATE Stupid Numark PITCH!!!!

well i was like 75 percent in my mix, then this happened. But even afterwords i tried to beatmatch it, it was almost impossible on those numark decks.

Yeah apparently there's quite alot wow & flutter with numarks.. luckily I'm gettin 500's and only am gonna use em for turntablism yo. usin ttx's right now

i learned on a pair of GLI 2500Pro's which were belt driven(never heard of them? didn't think so) as soon as i made the switch to tech's once i could afford them i felt lazy cause it was a lot less work. So in essence learning to do shit the hard way is actually easier in the long run....and just adjust the pitch so you don't have to get so close to your *danger zone*

just don't touch the platter! that's the key to belt driven decks... just USE THE PITCH.

mine is not belt driven. its direct drive. I use the platter and the pin to beatmatch as well as the pitch.

500's are decent tables. so don't blame them for pitch problems. specially if you recently purchased them.

here's the rundown:
just cause you were 75% in a mix doesn't mean you had perfect beatmatch. you could have a beatmatch fuck up where shit starts to stink after like 30 seconds of a mix-in. The reason for this is that you are a few tenth of a seconds offbeat. But at first this doesn't seem too big of a difference, till it adds up to be like half a second difference. then everything is off and fucked up.

I give you 9:1 odds that it's not the table's problems. I personally actually like the 500's and the ttx's.
