20 packs

The packs are cool, because they're so small and don't get all 'bunged up' haha.. and $8.50 is great. Back home we paid $11.86 for a 25 pack.. but it was worth it. You still had three or four smokes the next morning to last until your next pack. Why is it impossible to find 25 packs of Export A down here?

I'm cool with the 20s.. I'm not so addicted that I need the extra smokes, although they're good to have if you give smokes away like I do.. but I was just wondering if anyone knew why they weren't common down here.

whenever i get a 25 pack i normally end up breaking at least five of them, so i don't like them.

Apparently there used to be 15 packs to.. what a weird world.

Get someone back east (or even in AB) to send you some in the mail.. hah.

that's one of the problems that i'm worried about. as well as, is it even legal?

Probably not - if you declared them as being tobacco product the duty on them would cost you just as much (with shipping) if not more than canadian smokes...

So unless those are some realllyyyyyy (and I mean REALLY) good Serbian smokes... f that.

true enough. my friend bought a carton of smokes in the states for 30 dollars... when we tried to bring them over the border the markup was 110% (came to 70 dollars in taxes). it was ridiculous, we ended up leaving the carton at the border instead of paying it.

thats what we always do with booze - its so cheap there, we buy a whole lot of it and you cant bring it over the border without paying a bunch, so we end up drinking it all there.
