so some dude got stabbed in the neck and in poco lastnight at a party
i feel bad for his brother because he apparently was in the hospital with him when he died. thats gotta be hard p.s. stabbing people is pointless unless its legitimate self defense

Alright
I was in Surrey a couple weeks ago with a buddy for a friends house party. I had some cash in my wallet. Which wasnt smart in the first place, but Im not used to worrying about this kinda stuff! Some weird guy came up to us out of no where. Told me to hand over my wallet as he pulled out a huge ass knife! Im fairly broke. And with my recent break up. I wasnt in the mood. So I stood up to him and told him to go ahead. But if he does, he better make it a good shot cuz he will only get one. ... Then there was a pause and he took off. After I fell on my ass and started to shake! Fucking scarey shit. Not used to this stuff out here! It was stupid of me to do that. But luckey I didnt get my ass stabbed! This place is weird!

Well PoCo seems to be rolling down hill at speeds I can barely comprehend
a friend and sports mate of my bro's was stabbed to death 20 years old, trying to stop a bunch of others from kicking the s**t out of his little bro's friend and he got a knife in his back for the effort and now some 16 year old (who they can't name) f**k they can never name names...to protect the murderer? Who protected Jesse? No one he was just standing up for the little guy and now he's gone I'm really hit hard by this not only because he grew up down the street, and was my brother's friend, but because he did what I would what my brother would and now he's gone and his parents are good people, he has a little brother finishing highschool and a girlfriend I can't help but think, what if it had ben my brother? I didn't know Jesse Penner - he was another one of many sports guys that came around my house but I feel his loss and what it means for many If you see something violent, or know of it's happening call the police as sadly, they might be the only ones armed enough to break it up peacefully

some parts of coquitlam are definately getting scary huh. My friend's sister moved there thinking it would be safer for her and her 4 year old daughter and one of their first nights at their new home they heard gun shots and it turns out there was some sort of "drive by" right in their back alley. Needless to say they will be moving out at the end of the month. That kind of stuff really disturbs me. What the fuck kind of place do we live in when neigborhoods and young people are being attacked and a lot of times at random. I have heard of way too many young people getting killed in the past year.. a couple I knew quite well and others I knew of... either way whether they are strangers or someone you know it never feels any better hearing this stuff.
I hope whoever did it gets what he deserves but mostly I hope this brave Jesse's soul is at peace.
