Damn Snow!!! Damn Ditches!

thats right.. i drove into a ditch..so im driving out to abbotsford early this morning, for a very important meeting. and i drive through aldregrove as to avoid the freeway, expecting that the snow would be the same as it was in the city.. now im a good driver never been in an accident only backed into a car once the first day i got my liscence over 4 years ago. and ive driven in snow. nothing new for me. so today i hit black ice. must have skidded for like 3 blocks, tried to correct my car from spinning and all that shit you learn at driving school and forget.. well i stay on the road then just as my car is about to stop it doesone more spin and went back into the ditch! luckily i was okay cause i had slowed down so much before the car finally went in. and luckily it didnt roll on its side in the ditch or anything, just sticking pretty much straight out with the trunk in the ditch. had to wait for about an hour and a half and there was one car and one truck in the ditch each about 3 blocks apart from me either way. on the bright side of things i met some cute guys that were in the truck behind me that hung out till my friend got there and waited for the toe truck with me. anyone else hate snow driving as much as i do now?

driving in the snow is evil! 2 years ago in the snow i ended up in a ditch! there's a steep hill before my house and yeah apparently 3km/h is way to fast :P

I was driving in the snow last night at like midnight, it was hell out there. I just took off my snow tires of my Srt 4 and put my high performance summer tires back on with 19 inch rims. Who would have thought snow in mid march. I made it home okay but on a couple turns i was turning right but the car was going straight, nothing you can do without the proper tires.

I'm on the "I love snow driving" bandwagon. There's four feet of snow outside in Fort Nelson right now, and I've been taking ever opportunity to powerslide around corners and having a blast! But then again, I grew up with snow 7 months of the year, and I've seen snow in every month of the year too!

Hope you and your car are ok though.

we are both fine. back bumper got a little mangled, but i drove the car after it got pulled out. have you tried any snow angels yet?
