if you were sick that's a legitimate reason for being away and that shouldnt count towards your "5 away days". the teacher does sound like a prick and if i were you i would go talk to the principal. there's no reason to do that class all over again because of someone's stupidity (and i mean your teacher's).

Is it possible that you can take a different elective instead of art like photography or something...something that wouldn't require you having the same teacher...

maybe...btw, i go to power and in the summer semester they have pretty limited elective classes...and very few too...so i think i will need to take art again...but at least i'll have half the work done right..lolz

Hey that means you can slack for the mean time on the shit that you have already finished and then when it comes to the last three weeks is when you gotta really get to work lol...
P.s. Limited courses sucks...then you simply have to deal with this guy thats got a stick stuck up his ass...As hard as it may sound and you might not want to do it...Suck up and totally kissing ass would help you get through the course...But in the mean time you can still not like him:)
