no too sure about lotus/honey/mix hierarchy, but i'm think that on fridays in honey the promoters bring in their own people to run the door and the coatcheck, so the person you dealt with doesn't actually work at honey, or for the lotus organization, he works for the mod club.

so please don't go throwing bricks through windows.

Thats absolutly horrible what he said to you.
I have done the same thing at many a place, and they always have asked me to come back at the end of the night, witch is understandable. But they have always asked me in a polite way and were never rude.
Someone in charge should deffinatly hear about this!
Although i think the statement about it being the worst bar is not very fair, they just have a bad employee. Or as automatic said it is probally someone who doesnt even work for the bar.

yeah the staff at Honey are all really nice, chill people... my GF works for Lotus & also does a monthly @ Honey and i know they provide their own door person. I'm sure the same applies for Mod Club. The guy had no right to curse you out & the promoters should get a serious reprimand for allowing their door person to behave that way... but at the same time, if you lose your shit on a busy night, don't expect the coat person to drop everything & help you find your coat. He's within his rights to ask you to come back at the end, but he had no right to be rude & curse.

you havent gotten your coat back cos you havent gone to pick it up.
it has been waiting for you since about 220am, the same night/morning.
thats when honey closes. you were not asked to wait until 4am.
no one wanted to give your coat away to someone other than the owner (you) but seeing as there was a line-up of people behind you, you were asked to wait so he could take the time to find your coat and verify what was in the pocket(s).
casey is not the regular coat check person. he will not be working at the coat check in the future, but it is our policy that you need a ticket to pick up your coat for above-mentioned reasons, and if you dont, unfortunately, you have to wait until the end of the night, or at least until there is not a line up of people behind you.
i can not and will not respond on behalf of casey.
what he did was rude and i dont agree, but what he said was in response to your comment about the matter of your own coat being more important than all of the other people behind you, waiting.
also, to the best of my knowledge, this all happened around 130am. as i said, the bar closes shortly after, between 2-220am. i dont feel it was unreasonable to ask you to wait.

your 'stupid jacket' is still waiting for you.
honey is open from noon to midnight monday through saturday, with the exception of fridays.
if any attempt was made to contact the manager, you should have been told when you could call back to reach him, but as previously mentioned, the promoter is who you should be in contact with.
if you send me a message containing your phone number, i will have him call you directly.

Who cares if there was or was not a reason, good customer service usually means you don't call paying customers obscenities, there are tons of other solutions to escalated issues that don't involve calling people names.

I can't believe anyone working in the customer service industry would talk like that to a customer! I have also called to talk to management several times and have had no luck getting through. So unless you like being treated terribly by staff DON'T GO TO HONEY!!! I am trying to start a boycott! and I still haven't gotten my stupid jacket back either!

Friday nights where my usual thing for honey. Now, honey has never had a coat check. They've got no room to put any coats.


And if they did.. It's not the clubs fault you were called a bitch. Honey on fridays is where the pretentious welf elitists go. I've never seen so many poor attitutes trapped in one place. To the point where i'm pushing people over to get one drunk chick out before she does a 360 spraying puke on everyone. They dont listen to anyone. They always give the lamest looks. If there was an EMO bomb that could kill all the emo's.. I'd buy 20.

The promoter himself (David) is a great guy, as long as you're not pulling lame shit like not paying or getting friends to sneak in.

So, Dont go screaming to management.. They dont give a rat's ass about your problems. If friday keeps bringing the crowd in and therefore the money. The promoter can do whatever he wants.

Just go in on friday semi-early. Like 8pm and talk with the promoter. But dont scream/threaten/fight him or chances are you'll be carried out and banned from there. Talk to him like a normal person. People are different, you'll have better luck with the promoter if you act like a human being. Fuck that other lowlife, probably is dying from AIDS.
