When Paypal Fucks You Over

How many people has this happend to??

It just happend to me like.. this morning.. and im fucked now.

They double charged me.. ALOT of money. and basically told me that im shit out of luck for 2 weeks before they will pay me back.

paypal is sketchy to its canadian users in general. they should really open a office in toronto or vancouver and focus more on us. as for the double charge, it's a good thing paypal offers a top notice dispute feature.

Paypal does have an office that does online/telephone cs in Burnaby.

yeah but they SERVICE the us... i used to work for amazon.com's customer service centre it was in surrey they only talk to americans.

paypal said they's refund me but it will take untill the 17th. :(

From what I've heard Paypals Service agreements are written entirely in their favor. I guess you can feel lucky they feel like paying you back at all.

If they admitted it was 100% their mistake then they should take accountability for it, have you demanded they rush the refund? I'm certain that is possible if you're really in a financial stitch as a result of this.

I sortof know what they mean... cuz i work for a company that does basically the same thing as paypal.. and i know online bank funds transfers take while... but paypal takes longer then my company does :(

too bad my company only does it for online casinos and not for ebay.

they fucked me and my buddy over too , we were runnin an online business sellin electronics, and they fucked up and drew out like 200 and claimed it was legit and all this bullshit, then they ended up closing our account cause we wouldn't pay it.. and it went to collections and all this shit. so we had to open another account to do biz.
