Office politics.... fucking bullshit

I work in an office full of women. It is fucked. Not only do they never tell you what is wrong, (it has to travel through at least 2 others so that by the time you know there is a problem, they are all pissed off), but they have just royally fucked me over. They gave me a postition while the head CSR was taking night classes to learn how to use excel (how can you not be alble to figure out excel is beyond me) then suprise suprise, they basically switch our jobs, on the apparent premise that I am better at her job than she is.... oh and they cut my pay by 1$/hr because "thats the rate for that position, but dont worry after your 3 month review we will give you more if you are performing". Did i mention that at my current position i am about 2 weeks from the end of my probation period... seems a little too convenient to me...

Im fucking sick of the treacherous bullshit that employers pull, its fucking deceiptful and enfuriating!!! Like WTF!?

Anyways. I am going to fucking quit once I find myself another marketing position, if anyone needs some help with marketing, spreadsheets, promotoions, advertising, or creative work let me know becuase I want to get the fuck out of here.

NO, but it makes things a lot more difficult. From my personal EXPERIENCE in a female dominated enviroment. Not blaming women, or even saying thats the REASON why this happened. There are just communication problems that I have only experienced in this enviroment.

Could be a coincidence. I'm not attacking women by any means... But to anyone reading this, i just thought that it definatly was a factor. Considering that NOW the marketing department is made up entirely of women. Which is fine, but I strongly believe that my male presence was a significant factor in the events that transpired.

Ummm, not really... I typed out a rant about how I am getting fucked over despite being the most productive person in my department.... I didnt hate on anyone in particular, just the events that transpired and that fact that employers do this to ppl on a regular basis, seemingly without any guilt or consideration for how they are essentially devaluing you to the point of a commodity and not a person.

Oh and BTW, if i had bad work ethic, than yes, it would be silly for me to have posted that...considering that nothing in my post implys ME doing anything wrong, I dont see how you would take that kind of impression away. Remember, I was ranting about my treatment from the organization. If I wanted to fuck them over I would give them no notice and just quit, but instead I am going to find somthing else, put in my 2 weeks, and get a reference letter out of this. Im pissed off. its called the employment standards act getting an overhaul when the liberals were in charge and totally fucking things up for the working folk.Its called business,with that said people are shiesty and often have that cut throat mentality.Regardless of wether or not they have a vag instead of dangly bits between thier legs.

Get used to the idea of being treated like shit by your employer and you not being able to do ANYTHING about it.If you wanna be treated with respect,go work in Italy or Sweeden.:)They have way better social policies anyways.

and now i suppose when my efforts drop to 80-90% because I got shit on, I am being a bad employee because it must have been ME. Not the fact that this was obviously a calculated move made by management ages ago, and that I was a pawn in their twisted game.

Obviously there is a reason they don't want you there. I said nothing about your work ethic, in fact I don't doubt it. Chances are, you aren't compatible with the team and management notices that. So they are finding a way to show you the door discreetly.

Well, I was in marketing, which i saw as a possible carreer doorway type thing... but yea, school is looking pretty good, i think im going to finish my degree now, a business dip. is fucking useless. In hindsight i should have just gone to fuckin BCIT and gotten somthing useful. Oh well.

I am interested to hear what you do, marketing wise. I have a big project coming up. If you are some what of an entrepreneur we should talk. Also, I work with many companies and know of many marketing/promo companies that I pass staff off to very often.
I don't really know you but it does sound like you are getting walked all over. You should talk to them and just fucking say "what did I do wrong in my current position? Is this all really because I am 'better' as CS?" Go in acting like you want to learn what was wrong and where you can grow. If she aint got an answer, then your getting fucked around.
That is why I don't work for anyone anymore. I work for myself and with people/clients/companies. Clients are kinda like partners... It's much better.
