the wisdom teeth aftermath

I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out in the hospital three days ago, and I thought I would be feeling better by now....considering how sedated ive become from eating T3's every 4 hours, but Im still actually in a lot of pain....Hopefully my jaw will feel better soon because...IM GETTING REALLY SICK OF EATING PUREED (tasteless) BABYFOOD!

tips on getting through the next week of pain and recovery anyone?

that really all depends on the position of the teeth, and how they have to be removed.

i had all four of mine done at one time. the top two were straight and completely normal. they came out fine and didn't cause a lot of pain. but the bottom two were impacted, and had to be broken up before they could be remove. they took a lot longer to heal (bigger/deeper hole) and were actually a lot more painful.

if you're lucky and have them done simply and easily by your dentist, then you're fine.. but when you have to do the oral surgeon/hospital thing.. it tends to be a lot more complicated and painful.
