- not returning phone calls
- cancelling at the last minute w/out a good reason
- not calling when they say they will
- not showing up
- not answering their phone when one or a combination of the above have ocurred
- being constantly and consistently late (and I don't mean 5 minutes)

I was just discussing this with my best friend, and we have decided that people who do these things are selfish bastards who deserve a good kick!

I know a couple of people like that. I tell them that Im not gunna deal with it anymore. If we're going out, Ill call once, and let them know whats happining where and when (or leave a message, whatever). If they show then they do, but Im not waiting around for them!

Ive got about 2 or 3 girls I know who take forever to get ready and always tell our group that they will be ready at a certin time, never are. Then they never call back, or when we're counting on them to be ready (to be somewhere at a certin time) they're always late. Or when we all go somewhere they will ditch to go off and do whatever (ususlly cuz of some boy)
Pisses me off. So ive told them, Ill tell you where and when, you can show up or not!
One of them actually ditched some of us on our friends birthday at a resteraunt to go to a club some guys who were at the other end of the reseraunt.

I dont see these people as being good friends at all. Ive told some other friends this, and I dont even bother to invite them anymore, and Ive told them why I dont invite them! That was a fight in its own! But I have no more patience for that kind of treatment!

^^ no they're not into the scene. One goes to Apex every year to get fucked up and get fucked up by whoever, but thats just how she rolls!

See now I know some people who do this and i dont really like to call them friends cause it tells me they have no respect for me or my time.

A few of the people I do call friends I just know they always have time issues so i give them an extra 15min and make sure i show up late until they know how pissed i get

That irks me as well galaxie. It seems people don't have the decency to let you know that they just don't want to come. Quite frankly I would rather know you don't want to make plans and make plans with someone who does than waste my day waiting for your ass to call. I don't like when people are late either, I don't sit with my cellphone flipped watching the time but I do take a mental note when they are more than 15 - 20 mins late and they don't call saying that there's traffic or what not.

ummmmm not in my experience
some girls are usually late due to wardrobe/hair/makeup malfunction
