Fucking pisses me off!

3 months ago, this lazy account manager was asked to copy editing a website (we're talking the entire website had to be re-written) that is the homepage for one of our BIGGEST accounts. so what does she do? she waits untill the last minute (less than a week before it is due) and says "i got too much on my plate (which she doesn't FYI). i'll get andrew to do it."

so i find out on tueday that i have to edit and re-type 130 fucking pages by monday morning, but that's not the part that pisses me off.

the part that pisses me off is that the entire file is a PDF and can only be worked on with acrobat editer, so i cannot work on it from home.

so now because of her laziness, i am at work on my day off doing HER job! and i'll probably be here tommorow as well!

and to top things off, my sister and grandmother are in town for mine and my nephew's birthday, and i will not be able to attend his party!!!

looks like you need to tell that hoe to do it herself and let her get fucked over for once. then maybe she will smarten up. You cant always bail people out.

Chewy is right. If you have the weight at work, you gotta take this above her head and let her boss know she fucked you and ruined your weekend.

Letting this stand only makes it worse later.

My peer is a slacker at work and I have let her know and the manager know I wont pick up the slack if it is going to impact my results. I got a raise, and more of the higher paying work because the manager knows the situation now.

Alot of my promotions have been due to the fact that I pick up work from other people and when someone messes up or is just plain incompetent then you should gun for their job...You get it eventually...
