Detroit Grand Pubahs!!!!!

Alright, so I LOVE Detroit Grand Pubahs (you know, the guys behind "Sandwiches", "Ride" and what not), and when they came to town, back about 4-5 years ago, I did not even know who they were, and I totally missed the boat on that whole thing. Funnier thing is, I did their CD release party at our old club night (Cheeky, RIP), and I gave away all the CDs and shirts, cause I did not know who they were! Now I am kicking myself.

Anyhow, all you people who wanna see a good show, from an act who KNOWS how to put on a good show and also play some wicked music, head to Lotus this Thursday (Jan. 25) for Detroit Grand Pubahs. YES! THEY ARE COMING! If you know who they are, then I don't need to say much more. If you have never heard of them, then even the more reason to check these guys out. They are INCREDIBLE!

WOW! just WOW!... frikkin AMAZING. It met my expectations and exceeded them! Those two know how to entertain the crowd! Best part was Paris the Black Foo handing out Knob Creek and JD (among other drinks) the the audience! Nothing like drinking out of a bottle passed to you from a crazy man on the stage! And he was also making mixed drinks for the crowd! hhahahahahhaha..

The one wearing the mask was freaky! it was odd to see him take the mask off at the end of the night :-)

Oh, and after their live show, the masked guy did a DJ set and played some KILLER techno/electro... So awesome!

Also, they had setup a stage at the back of the Lotus and that worked really well too! Made the place feel like a WHOLE other venue.

I agree with farshad. That was a freakin' wicked awesome show, they ruled it. I think the third liquor they had on stage was a bottle of absolut. Played a lot of their Funk All Y'all classics, and a handful of new stuff.

Props to the Wanted crew for bringing them out. Best show of 2007 so far....
