IMO very few people bother to download the mixes and listen to them. They just vote for their friends or whatever. Solution to this is to have all the mixes identified anonymously and not even say who entered, so it's not some Ridgemont Jr High popularity contest, as is the case year after year. On the other hand, this is a good intro to the cruel & stupid world of DJin, raves, idiot promoters & club managers, and suckin up to whoever's gonna get you a gig.

It is really funny that some of you seem to think that you can say anything, and it not hurt your reputation as a DJ.
ps - Apex is still the party with the HIGHEST attendance in the city. Most of the headliners that come out, come out to play for free and for the size of the crowd alone. Must be an absolute SHIT party to play for if that is the case. 17 accomplished headliners don't know what they are talking about.

hey wayner,
you do realize it's not exactly difficult to mix together a shitload of ram records and shogun audio, right? it's all the same speed and the same fucking drops. if i wanted to be a bedroom dj with an attitude, i'd try some mixes with tunes that break that mold a little. i like how you go for the money comments, you should post more pictures of that fat stack of $20's you put up before. i wanna see a real baller again. some of us find zero need to brag about our money position. i'm a freelance programmer who does a lot of work for a company that pushes alternative energy forms to oil / natural gas & relocalization. irregardless of the amount of money i make, i'm actually doing something that matters. (ps. just to shut you up, i do well on the money side as well as the karma side of work) fuck, i can't believe more people aren't voting for jc, that mix is golden.
