first set on the 15th hey. Heres a tip use alot of backspins & kill the power on the tabl.es & make them come to a slow stop, but ummm it always sounds better when its mixed! LOL

theres nothing more discouraging and frustrating than playing out without sufficient practice.. youLL embarass yourself and u wont ever wanna spin again =)

just practice.. bah we all went through it.... and occationally we'll go through small times where we just dont have the ear for the beats one day... all the time.. all the time...

Don't worry, you'll get it eventually!

When I first started spinning, I learned to mix by using two tracks with one VERY distinct main beat, then I progressed into harder stuff.

I mean, I still suck, but I'm not -that- bad!

What kind of music are you using?
Try mixing slow jams, it doesn't matter if the lyrics clash because if you're spinning electronica you won't have to worry about them, just concentrate on the beat!
