I heard what he's done with the Dark Side tour has completely revamped it. He was always the main creative force behind them anyways.

Y'know what? After reconsidering this year is pretty damn awesome.

Only disappointment in the headliners really is Jack Johnson, but I wouldn't consider that really any more disappointing than say Coldplay.

The more I think about this the more I want to go.

Still, my line of thinking is this: If I was to take a trip down into the States to partake in a music festival in a deserty climate, Burning Man wins hands down, without even looking at the lineup. Plus, I doubt I could afford two of them at this point.

And even if I could afford both of them... well, I'd just use the Coachella money and head over to Glastonbury instead.:P

Burning Man is very different from a rock festival.

This year's theme is "The American Dream", and I honestly don't trust the states over the next year while Bush is still in power. Not at all. I'm still waiting for the next Terrorist attack to link to Iran so that they can justify another bullshit war. I don't want to be in the US when it happens.

But seriously... about half the names on there are acts I'd reakky like to see. That's pretty standard for Coachella I find, so why not?

no sense in rushing what is certain to be a AMAZING crazy fun journey...
