First listen. Love the Dubbier sounds in the later half. Pretty solid tunage but this guy is so much better live and his projects seem to be all about promoting his crew or sound and less about the quality of the dj mixing/programming.

I'm thinking I need to give Diplo another swing at bat next time he comes to town. Last time I saw him I was kinda disappointed, but lately his production work has been enticing me a little more.

^when did you see him? last time he was at celebs was meh imo... but the time before, with CSS & Bonde Do Role... stellar.

^ That was the last time I saw him and I was kinda disappointed. I dunno, just kinda seemed like not much different from when he played the LCD Soundsystem afterparty in 2005. I felt a bit tired of his style the second time around. As a result I've avoided him since.

i do like some of the Santogold stuff - that Freq Nasty, Switch "Creator" joint is up my alley. And the dubbier stuff is cool too, i like her flow. I'm not necessarily attracted to a producers' name credit first, so Diplo wasn't the attraction for me.
