Stella is a great beer for the clubs IMO. Most places you go in Vancouver your choices are:

Stella, Heineken, Bud, MGD, Coors, Canadian, Kokanee, and maybe Granville island.

Chances are at a club, they will have one of those so stella's a good way to go. As a side note, asking a bartender what types of beers they have during a busy night is just plain stupid.

There are more interesting beers, but it comes down to convenience. A few brands I prefer, but Stella's always good. But all green's are fairly similar (Heineken, Stella, Becks etc...)

Sorry, no, I don't consider Stella or Heineken top quality beers, but I do enjoy them at clubs, they seem to go down pretty easily when I'm already hammered.

I'm convinced that if I grabbed a Canadian or a Budweiser by accident instead of a Stella or Heiny, even if I was 3 sheets to the wind I'd have a "Ueeeghh?? Wtf did I just drink??" moment.
