Slow tempo tracks...stuff that even at +8 isnt fast enough to mix in...

YOU GODDAMMED PEICE OF SHIT PRODUCERS IF YOU WRITE A SICK TRACK DONT FUCK IT UP AND WRITE IT AT SUCH A SLOW TEMPO THAT DJS CANT MIX IT WITH ANYTHING.

k, holy shit i just got some new sick tracks and oh whats that? theyre all too slow to play with anything that i would normally be spinning. some of these wouldnt even mix at the tempo i play house at if i had a +10 pitch control. what a load of bullshit.

this is driving me insane.

Tiesto remix of Delerium - Innocente is a good example of this as far as trance is concerned, it's at 126 BPMs. The style of trance of the track is more suited to something like 134. Can't pitch it up all that much either without making the vocal sound lame.

i always hear the exact opposite... in fact i always say the exact opposite:

what's with wicked producers putting out tracks that are too fast? 140 bpm? what the hell can you mix that into?? ;)

i kinda dig cd decks... you can play all kinds of wacky shit with it. or you could get a track cut then put it on one of those butt ugly TTX's. meh

I used to get bitchy cause all the music was too fast 180+ or too slow 140- what's wrong with 160? it's tempo that just does not want to be.

Well, dfltr brings up a good point. Tracks usually sound a hell of a lot better pitched up than they do pitched down, at least for a lot of trance. Or maybe that's just my personal taste, dunno.

epic trance fully does sound better faster.... the higher pitches bring out so much energy its fuckin great. but anywhere past 145 bpm just sounds terrible in my opinion.
