I think your prayers have been answered after looking at Agroculture's line-up.

The first 100 records I baught were all hardhouse,,, but I've completely lost interest in it,,, although I can't bring myself to sell them because it's what introduced me to electronic muisc. I suppose it would be fun to actually play them one day,,, but it would have to be for an audience that appreciates that type of music.

i agree with cdn_BrDr.. NuNrg and HardHouse need to come need to be played more.. dj morgan's set was fucking awesome at fusion dreams, and the sound system did the tracks justice...dj lt www.dj-lt.com has good taste in HardHouse

dave, ukhh has been around for a lot longer than three years.. there definately is an old school sound of hard house. Try downloading tony de vit's Tel Aviv Global Underground. this was actually the very first Global Underground compilation.. kind of interesting when you consider the musical direction they've gone in.. :)
anyway it was released in 1996 and is a hell of a lot sillier, bouncier and poppier than the hard house you here these days. it's also much SLOWER, being in the 130 - 140bpm range.

i don't really know if this stuff deserves a revival, but it does exist.. heh.



ppcock, the first "best of reactivate" compilation was totally rad! three discs of belgian techno, techno-trance and nu-nrg. the nu nrg disc was classic and contained only tracks in the pre-hoover era of 1993 - 1998. this is real nu-nrg.. euphoric and uplifting, not dirty and aggressive.

the second best of reactivate compilation really let me down.. i was expecting a decent follow up to the first but shit, it's a bore..
