Adam freeland Essential mix May 11 2003
Starts out with some anti war Spoken word dropped behind Ils "Music" and keeps the "guitar" filled Breakbeats and Electro tech going through the majority of the set. Not only that the anti war theme is kept solid till the end with an appearence from "rage against the machine" in the middle of the set. He dropped Fucking Rage In a breaks set!!!!!! qksfjqpwejfporgfrojgrgj!!!!!! There is a new sound out there I have seen it rising in popularity for a little while now and I am pretty happy it hasnt caught on here in Vancouver. This post won't do much for its rareity but I could care less. I thought I would share my thoughts with you ravers. Next year I can't wait to say "See I told you so!" Dropping something like rage in a set isnt a big deal. Ever seen the stuff ztrip does?

^Look up z-trip on soulseek and you'll find a shitload of good stuff. When I get home to my comp I'll find my list and put it up.... I've got at least 6 or so sets... I'll try to put together a track listing for them as well.
And this Freeland mix is tight..... I love the idea of incorporating more 'rock' elements into electronic music... especially breakbeat. A dancing Shawn is a happy Shawn..... now DANCE SUCKA!!! :c-tard:

am i the only one who can't stand that 7 nation army song.... in the video the drummer looks like she is retarded or something...and the singing is terrible...i guess im just not a fan of this new style of rock that has surfaced recently... its so bleh...

we all have our own definitions of godfathers and yeah you are right james is definatley one. I guess I hsould say godfather of Nu Breaks.
Thats funny that you say that about marine parade though yeah most of their choons are on the techy side but the new stuff coming out and adam freeland and....I mean COME ON MAN!!!!!

When I heard that track the first time i almost cryed the originality is one thing but the guitar, the voice, the FUCkING MESSAGE!!!!!!! I really don't think I have heard as good as a track (breakwise) then that, and if I have this is in my top 3 for sure... Bite your tongue bwoy!

Its good. No doubt about it. Just because I personally wouldnt buy something doesnt mean its not good. Just means its not the sound and style that i'd want to come with in a set.
