Karen Lee Batten (Fr. Canadian Idol) FREE concert

Karen-Lee Batten performs in a free concert on Sunday from 6-10 p.m. at Rotary Stadium in Abbotsford Exhibition Park [32470 Haida Dr., Abbotsford].

Batten promises to perform a diverse song list including country, jazz and pop tunes to a crowd expected to be as large as 10,000 supporters.

There'll be plenty of opportunity for fans to get autographs, as Batten will be at her tent to meet them from 6:15 p.m. She'll be stepping out on the stage about an hour later.

Concert-goers will be treated to other entertaining youngsters from the area.

To start the evening, the audience will also be treated to a jazz trio comprised of Dave Batten [Karen-Lee's dad], Ed Fast [of City Hall fame] and Tim Diak.

Proceeds of donations go to Rotary projects including the Salvation Army and the Abbotsford Hospice Society.
