I saw them at the Pic Pub a long time ago. During the 2nd song of their set, my belt broke and I spent the rest of the night moshing around with one hand holding my pants up.

What can one say about Gob? Well one of the ex members (Happy) was in a Band I used to play drums for (Burden) so during the reign of the punk strikes back sagas held at the illustrious Langley Civic centre I'd become acquainted with the boys and they seemed to be pretty decent guys. Fastforward to 2 months ago, going to the lotus with my buddy carlos and nature calls so we stop by the tinseltown starbucks, and who do I see but the yuppified Theo enjoying a mochafrap after a canucks game. So seeing that we've had some sort of history in the past I go up to him.

" Hey man, it's been a good 6 years, remember hanging at the Punk strikes back shows at the Civic centre"

to which he doesn't even dignify a response... like he's to good to come from the depths of suburbia because now he's a dignified artist on NETTWERK bwahahaha

Gob will never break the american market, try as they might. It was histerical seeing Theo as such a yuppy. I do know, maybe it's not my place to talk, maybe he's just getting old , and he's trying to milk the punk rock cow for what it's worth ... but it's really funny when you put into perspective that Gob used to play real punk shows right after uber vegan bands like manner farm.

Gob...whoa...good ol' locals.

I remember back in the day Tom driving me home so I wouldn't have to take the bus. Damn I wasn't even able to drive back then, ok I'm feeling old now. He used to work at A&B sound in surrey with some friends of mine...I remember when he took some time off for their first tour. Took off and GOB are what they are now lol
