bitch im high and listening to sublime right now, and i love how they recorded 2 guitar tracks with slight variations in chords and notes and created a stereo image with the 2 tracks.. with crazy samples and scratchs panning all over the place with some trippy reverb and a hip hop beat.. and i like how they switch up between rock/ska/punk/reggae guitar work in there songs... wtf? haven't u ever listened to any sublime.. they use alot of simple hip hop beats, with deep basslines, and they switch up drum beats between hip hop/rock/punk.. and they throw ska/reggea guitar chords in there.... so yes, they do have hip hop beats, but it can't be classified as such.
