Outkast: ATLiens

This has to be their best album ever. Its so heavy on the bass that it makes your eyes jiggle.

I'd have to say that ATLiens and Elevators are tied for the best tracks on the cd, Wheelz of Steel come in a close second.

Listening to this cd I really learned to differentiate between Big Boi's and Andre 3000's styles.

I like Big Boi's style much better. His songs have a much more gangster/hip-hop feel. Its all about the smooth bumpin beats. "Like bust your shit open beats"-reakwon on the Aquemini album.

i like Big Boi's beats a hell of alot better. i find that Andre tends to borrow elements from rock, funk ect a little too much for my liking.

i agree with this album being one of their best ones, but i really lean towards andre 3000 myself. i love the fact that he digs into the funk/rock/jazz roots...adds a different edge to his tracks. i guess if you're just talking in strict terms of hip hop, then yes, i agree w/ you on big boi...but if you're talking about just general overall, i definitely feel that andre shines. comparing the love below to speakerboxxx, i just found that andre really struck me much harder.
