Kish Kash - New Basement Jaxx ...

Now I'm a little biased, because I'm a huge fan of Basement Jaxx. Rootie was one of the best dance albums I've ever heard. From Red Alert, to bingo bango, to rendez vue, to where's your head at, so many great singles.

The new cd , kish kash, however is a big change. The first track on the album "Good Luck" had me so pumped because it's a wicked track. But the rest of the cd is simply too unaccessible. It becomes hardcore electronica mixed with either hiphop or goth lyrics, dark and moody.

I was really shocked, to say the least. Atleast there's one good track in my opinion, but coming from the Basement Jaxx , this was an experimental move.

indeed, i was expecting the same feel good cheese that the jaxx are known for this album was a change that may have been over due

i hate this album.. it's the jaxx taking their usual cheesy crap sound and trying to be edgy. some of their older tracks are passable but this album just doesn't work!
