Boomtown is an unknown quantity at this point
Zinc & Friction - Bingo Sessions

holy fock this CD is BOMBIN!! Should be a real winner with the DnB heads. lots of fresh dubs, tight mixing and more variety than the average dnb mix. I haven't even gotten into the Friction disc yet, but 'True Playa' Zinc's side is rammed with hotness from the likes of D.kay, Roni Size, )EIB(, Influx, and many others of course including a hefty helping of exclusives from the man himself. Eksman & Dynamite hold down the mic duties, and while i'm not generally a fan of MCing on mix CDs, i think they do a good job. At least they're low enough in the mix that it isn't intrusive.

Friction's side, hosted by MC SP, looks to go a little harder than Zinc's, with rubs from Tech Itch, Gridlok, Loxy & Keaton rounding out the mix. Also included, to my dismay, is Concord Dawn's miserable 'Don't Tell Me', a tune i find totally inexplicable in it's popularity. Otherwise the selection looks pretty tight, if perhaps a tad less current than Zinc's.

Boomtown Price: $34.99 import 2CD. Pricey as any import will be, but well worth it.
