RAdio versions of songs!!

I was listening to the beat this morning when one of the songs I like came on Let's get Retarded" by the Black Eyed Peas...I started to sing along "...Let's Get retar.." then I notcied that it says on the beats veriosn "Let's get it started" WTF way to ruin a good song...it duzn't even have the same meaning. I don't see retarded as being a "bad" word. Wut do u guys think about Radio edits!?

the "let's get it started" version of that song was originally made to be used as the NBA's new theme song. now radio picked it up to be used a radio edited version. when i first heard it on the beat they said 'retarded' instead of 'started'.

they actually changed it for some nba thing on tv....then it got released as the radio edit
