Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to side with the naysayers and point out that you aren't doing the artist(s) in question any favors by playing out a really shit rip of one of their tracks that you found on Soulseek (or whatever). I know a lot of us have been guilty of it in the past, but you have to realize that in reality, it's a huge lack of respect towards the artist to be doing this. Especially to openly admit it to the world like it ain't no thang. I mean with all the connections you've had to have made hosting some of the who's who in the breaks world over the years you'd think you could get it legitimately. Not trying to rag on you man, just letting you know.

Geesh! I would TOTALLY agree if I only planned to play it off CD. -- And Akeel, I've heard you play tracks off CD that have been on record for ages! And E-Man -- you read my mind actually as that's how I plan to get it! What I meant by ripping it wasn't to go to Soulseek... fuck I'm to lazy for that. I meant sending some emails to some peeps and have them send it to me until the record arrives. Peace.
