Doesnt Vestax have something like this already? I swear i've seen something similar in Tom Lee on Granville? It has a cd player in the front, which ofcourse you can scratch, pitch of and down, power down etc, with the platter, it has a record on it, it was a fake record though I think, although it looked real it was just for scratching the cd's and stuff. also had built in live effects, flange, phaser, echo etc. It was really f'ing cool and I found myself playing with it until the staff there started looking at me funny, but it was about $1300 each I think. For some reason I can't remember wiether or not you could actually use vinyl on it as well.

the thing is.... well ever played around with a str8 150?
They feel just as solid as a tech 12, I bet they'd pass the flight of stairs test just fine :P
That and the straight tonearm.... like faaawk. the scratching you can pull off on one of those..... holy crap.
