No no, Uplifting Trance isn't the same thing as "anthem" trance. Every genre has anthems.
For example, I could play a 2 hour set of uplifting trance and none of it would have to be anthems. On the same token, I could play a 2 hour set of say, tech trance, and have each track be an "anthem".
I'd suggest you try to spin tracks other than anthems as well. Try to develop your own style. The only way you'll do this is by listening to hours and hours and hours, and hours of music and developing a true taste for both what you like and what you think would work well in a set.
