There was a police road block, some djs went home, etc. At least thats what it said on the site.

Ahh...the story of WEMF.

well, I was flyering for Destiny/Lifeforce Industries, so I got in for free which was wicked. My friend and I went Friday night after I was off work, I got to TO at about 7. We were meeting our other friends there who had my tent. (and we ACTUALLY found them if you can believe!) Anyways, so by the time we got there on the shuttle, it was like, 10.
Police everywhere- party was down, everyone go home.
Except we ALL refused. We walked to the front, and proceeded to spend ALL night in line! Which ended up being really fun because we met cool people.
Then we got in early in the morning. All day cops were around, helicopters flying over head. To my knowledge only 2 Dj's didn't show, Nostrum and DJ Funk. The only reason they didn't show was because they came as it was getting shut down, so they weren't allowed in, simple as that.
I know Ryan (OS/2, head of Destiny) got in a lot of trouble, and there probably won't be another WEMF.
But, considering it was illegal, it was an amazing party. I can't even describe it.
