i dont know if this was mentioned in the first article.. but 50 cent booted the game out because the game wouldn't back up the game in more of his gay feuds with rappers... the game also was going to make a rap with nas, who is a nemises to 50 cent. So You get booted off a record label for not wanting beef, good shit.

lloyd banks is by far the most talented of any of those idiots, but still absolutely cowers in comparison with real lyricists....and although he even has a lil potential, he chooses to spit bout his ice n bitches.....so weak, so very very weak...

imho.

The only thing g unit has going for it is some alright production. None of its members are really impressive MC's, but their songs have catchy enough beats to make it somewhat bearable (how many times have you all had 'in da club' or 'this is how we do' stuck in your head for hours on end?). A lot of shit coming out as far as commercial rap goes doesn't even have its own production going for it, so they're doing something right in the very least.

Most of the respect I have reserved for g unit (which is very very small) goes to Young Buck, because I think it was pretty fucking cool to stand up to Dre's attacker like that.

I'd sooner be doing the rockaway!

maybe not THAT harshly does production affect an artist (dont want to generalize artists), but generally that is dead on with today's mainstream MCs (eg. "FIFTY...UNH..." <-- omfg wut a retard)

DRE's beats are fkn ill, its the kinda shit id like to hear at a club...but unfortunately the respect, or 'acknowledgement of talent' is wrongly directed towards the non-talented MCs on the track...
