Can you list off any north American sites that have a good selection of tunes.. And have a good selection of new tunes when they are released

When ordering online from the US or the UK, I know shipping can be expensive, but thats okay, but how does the duty and taxes work when bringing them into Canada and how much is it?

I made 2 orders; half the records came on the first (others were unavailable.....why do they list them then??) and the other order, came like 1 by 1 or 2 at a time. Id rather they send the whole order when its stocked, rather than paying more than the record just to ship the thing. In the time it took them to realize they didnt have what I ordered (took them like 6 weeks) I could have ordered from chemical or 4djsonly and gotten em in a week.

I know you said north american, but it's the fucking internet. It's not like you _can't_ order from it, the shipping just might be a bit more. But Juno's probably got the best selection I've seen online.

Backorders are an unfortunate reality.

Frankly, I'd rather they send me what they can and I'll wait for what they can't.

I had an order of CDs almost delivered to my shipping address in the USA across the border, it had the right address but then the postman refused to deliver it cuz it didn't have the P.O. Box! So he sent it back to California, now I gotta pay another shipping charge and get delayed another week.

Plus when I go across the border to pick it up sometimes they search my car and that takes 1/2 hour.

Definately www.juno.co.uk or www.chemical-records.com, I've been ordering from there over 3 years and their services are great, even though they located in UK, but in the end shipping and everything is still cheaper : )

satelliterecords is a joke. horrible online recordstore. same goes for vinyl-addiction regardless of whether or not they get "exclusives"
