^^ Oh, such mutual disinterest. haha. Honesty is cool tho. There should be more of it. And for that, a bit of "respect" huh? Comparing the two tunes, as a dancehall fan, the KnifehandChop tune kinda resonates a bit more. A bit rawer, definite jiggy beats for the 'core heads. KnifehandChop does hilarious booty bass techno jams too, total pop dancefloor stuff. Tongue in cheek. And yeah, he's a bit of a noisy fucker too. BBK? For my tastes, as a dancehall, dnb & ragga-jungle fan, to my ears, Tarantula is a bit over produced, slightly cheesy, typical clownsteppy dnb pap. No rawness to it.. or edge. Glossy. Its less interesting than a Sean Paul remix. Thank god there's alternatives to dnb dancefloor pap. The debate will continue, different strokes and all that. **************************************** ****************** More KNIFEHANDCHOP biz from a year ago, since I brought it up right? For anyone interested. Looking on ebay, that tarantula/fasten promo you won't find for under about $40 CDN at this point. Lovin that! Where a promo is so hard to come buy cats pay $40-50 bucks for it.
Whats the last track that did that? I gotta say Q-project-Champion sound when that came out on promo, it was so hard to find in the Uk these kids were paying 30-40 quid for it. (Quid = pounds).. OKay, lets expand the thread... Whats the most you've ever payed for a d&b track, weither it be a classic, promo, etc. I guess everyone pays normal prices for promos now because everyone is playing pretty much the same shit.. Personally I don't spin d&b, but as a collector, I picked up a classic DJ K track for $45US. But, the most i've ever spent on a track in general is $60US. And I have never, ever seen that track for sale again anywhere. So a good deal in my books. |
