nelly is garbage .. 50 is garbage.. tupac is legendary. It's just lifestyle music man, and they did a damn fine job of it. it takes years and years to develop an artform like that and I just happen to have lots of respect for what he/they did.. the production work was amazing. i dno man, this argument is pretty pointless (based on how you view him) so i'm just gunna drop it.

now I know more than I did before entering this thread I still don't like Tupac but at least I know his rhymes are freestyle and not written now to try and turn to something on a more positive note, there is a lot of hiphop that I do enjoy... I'm not dissing hiphop itself, just one artist... for example, I really dig some of the beats that MF Doom creates... also RJD2 makes some really sweet instrumentals... the hiphop style I prefer is more of the upbeat and funky or jazzy or big band oriented beats, as opposed to the really orchestral and dark kind of beats that are used when trying to convey a certain 'hardness' to the artists lyrics it's refreshing to hear lyrics like some of the stuff that Planet Asia writes, as well... lyrics dealing more with the process of creating the music than with the gangsta lifestyle, which is a fairly offensive tendancy of a lot of rap music...

LoL yeh I hate Tupac's music because he was a star... that sounds about right... it couldn't be because everything I've ever heard that he's done was boring and lame... oh no... it's all because he was famous and rich yep on that note, I hate ALL music as of now, unless it was made by a 14 year old hidden away in some unexplored corner of the world and nobody has ever heard his/her music but me
