vinyl turntables VS cd turntables

thinking about getting one, but...

vinyl = costly records | cd = well you know

i have never used cdj though but vinyl is just awesome touch and sound quality

if i could, i would buy cdj but it's just too expensive, same thing goes to vinyl though, for each records cost and rare tracks...

vinyl

why: because cd's r useless
with vinyl you can get final scratch or that other one eventually and use mp3's

cds r like cassette tapes

unless you're one of those "top 40" dj's, in which case a playlist can replace you.

turntables with serato sounds like the best option . you get the function and ease of mp3s with the option of vinyl. perfect!

Yeh i really wanna get serato, possibly in the spring when i got more flow.

It's always good to have techs since you'll be mainly playing on those wherever you go. Might as well start out with the tradition. Realize that this hobby ain't cheap and you have to be pretty serious about the music in order to sustain your interest for long.

I use cd decks, but apparently they're useless.

I use the Denon S5000's alot. They are a really good solid CD Deck but I prefer using Vinyl. The one thing I love about the Denon's is the ability to play MP3 cd's. I can have about 75 Tracks on one CD, make 2 copies, dont ever have to switch CDs.
