is there any reason to use headphones with this program? everything is so visual and automatic... funny thing is I don't know how to use dual soundcards for this program, so I can't...

u cant use dual soundcards
and trust me its way better with headphones...
the sync never works properly so u have 2 tap the beat 2 get the right bpm
then cue with the phones
you get a way better mix

thats what i thought until i tried it with headphones. With headphones it's pretty easy to do absolutely flawless mixing with the program (as long as your mp3s are of high quality) .
Its way easier to mix with traktor than real decks!

Rytalin is an unknown quantity at this point
The best low cost traktor solution is an SBLive + the KX driver.

You might even be able to set up 4 outputs like that.

Just use cue.....

I cue up the tracks to beat match.

Cue up the first one a bit before where ya want it gives ya time to start the next track.

But I'm just a noob mixin' metal....707.

If you have a Sound card with Front and Rear Outputs ie: SB Audigy 2. Just setup channel 2 and 3 (Rear Left Rear Right) to headphones then plug your headphones into your rear speaker port
