Hardcore! why is it so despised in the rave scene. I cant get enough of it but nobody else except my buddies seems to listen to it.

Vancouver has never been a place for really hard music.

Westcoast is known for funk. =) I'm not just talking electronic music.

hard house isn't really hard it's zippy, and nu nrg isn't really hard, it's flashy and cheesey.

sure it's harder, but it's not HARD..

Like Chicago Hard House, and Hardcore, are so much harder than any of those.

As for techstep, it's not really huge in vancouver, yes there is a bunch of people that love it, but it's not as popular as what I call Top40 jungle. Dillinja, Tech Itch and Decoder, Andy C, etc..

how is hard house not hard? hence the name HARD house?
if u mean hard as in FAST then yeah hardcore is pretty damn fast... but i havent listened to much chicago hard house except the older stuff bad boy bill and bam bam used to put out.... but still i dont see chicago hard house significantly harder than hard house....
or if u mean hard as in evil, tekstep is can be pretty damn evil... same with hardhouse and nu nrg.

as for tekstep not being popular, theres isnt a really dominating genre right now in my opinion. yeah 2 years ago hard house was it. every party was hard house with hard house headliners all over the world and there was a HUUUUUGE hard house fan bunch. as for now.... funk wise... hmmmmmm it up there.. but not really that far up there.

anyways i'm just blabbering now so whatever
