Is it just me or have the French been rocking the face of house over the last couple of years? Daft Punk's last album was a bit of a disappointment in the wake of Discovery, but between Jacques Lu Cont (aka Thin White Duke, aka half of Les Rhythmes Digitales), Etienne De Crecy (Super Discount Volume 2 is freaking wicked), Vitalic and the like... Fuck these guys are amazingly awesome.

Anybody else feeling the frogs lately?

Don't even get me started on French house... damn... that shit gets me moving! I was over in France this summer and ended up missing some amazing acts by only a day or two! Damn... should have planned that trip a little differently :)

I have a weakness for french house... there was deffinently a fair about of it out a few years ago and some sick tracks that came out too. However recently I just dont come accross or hear it as much as I use to?

the names i've listed are among the more recent. I'm fairly certain all the tracks i listed there are from this year.

it's just not as filter-driven as it used to be. only people really doing that anymore are steve angello, eric prydz, dave armstrong, etc.

I'm listening to Discopolis, not bad, but not as good as Freemasons. As for other French house music; well there is Dj Pierre, Dj Dimitri, Shazz and super rare Bleu and Imperial Groove.
