^^She has gotten votes. But you gotta keep in mind that the original theme of this post had to do not with people that were just good djs but ones that inspired you.. and many of the people are thinking back to people who they have watched develop as djs over the years.. bri's only been here for a year, give her time =)

uh, i was just explaining that she hasn't been around here that long. she's already made great achievements in the short time she's been here, but is still getting herself out there, which is why she may have not gotten as many votes as she deserves.

This post or something like it tends to come around once or twice a year... It's the same thing, everytime.

It's usually the same people at the top of everyones list and tends to be a popularity contest although some are legitimate/honest replies. -- Look at the average age of who is on FnK Arpy and you'll have your answer why no one mentions Stadius or Nordman.

Rather than a vote, I'll guess I give props to the following:
- Precise: dude still has some of the freshest jams all year round. Keeps other DJ's like me on their toes.
- Dabbler: same as above. I see him getting deeper into the production tip as well which is dope.
- Matty Pacific: nothing but respect for this dude after all these years.
- Czech: It'll be interesting to see what he does in the coming year!
- Vinyl Ritchie w/Mat the Alien - these 2 own on their own and now the fact you can see them together on Saturday's at Shine? DAMN!
- Hirshel the Funky 1: everyones favorite Funky House DJ year round.
- Christian Alvarez: this dude has accompished a LOT including starting his own label this past year which I believe is on its 4th or 5th release now.
- Spence: haven't heard him actually DJ in awhile, but mad respect for this dude as he has it all. That and he's a wicked sax player! ;)
- Danny Taylor: had him out to open a Cargo night or two and this boy throws down.

Male: *Hirshee*.....i seriously don't think i have enjoyed a local set more. He makes me wants to get up and dance, and i always have a really good time when he is playing : D. Loooove his track selection. Plus he's brown and so i pick Akeel for the same reason. (JK...but i do like a man who can play the drums)

*Czech*: Been a big fan from the start. Saw him recently and was really impressed. I felt like he mixed it up nice, and played some stuff that felt fresh for a change. There is nothing worse than hearing the same beat all night, it totally bores you and makes you leave early, not the case here.


Girls: *Ill-esha* It has been a while since i've seen her live, but i have always enjoyed her sets esp. when she sings. I saw her for the first time at some scurvy rave when i was 16 but if i'm still able to remember her that has to count for something, right? I love adding flavor to music, and bringing true vocal talents to layer the beats, which she does beautifully. Plus out of all the DJ's i've ever seen, she is my favorite to look at. Sooo beautiful.


I think DJ Leanne has potential as well. I heard her play once at TKL and my best friend and i really enjoyed what she was doing.
